ME204 Bike Design
Welcome to the bicycle design website and archive of projects! This class is taught yearly in Winter (ME204A) and Spring (ME204B) quarter by Ryan Connolly and Scott Kohn, and we hope it will be one of your Stanford highlights. You will come out with an awesome bike built to fit YOU.
Course Description
Lecture/lab. The engineering and artistic execution of designing and building a bicycle frame. Fundamentals of bicycle dynamics, handling, and sizing. Manufacturing processes. Films, guest lecturers, field trips. Each
student designs and fabricates a custom bicycle frame. Limited enrollment.
